Holiday wishes to you all. We had a wonderful day and I am now stuffed with manicotti and cheese ring. Sitting quietly with a nice glass of French wine (Haut-Médoc Chateu du Raux 2006- I just checked that for you Wino) and thought I would check in. My only food related gifts were a nice nice wooden salad plate from my daughter and the Jerusalem Cookbook. Two copies, I guess I let my wishes be known! It looks fantastic so I will be reporting on that as soon as I feel like cooking again. I think my kitchen and I need a little time apart.

Merry, merry to you all too! My 1 food-related gift was a cookbook, recommended by Sarah Moulton, called "Tiny Food Part". It was a complete surprise and looks like a fun idea. Getting ready to prepare our apps, and then onto dinner preparation. Nance

wino wrote: Herding cats was simpler I got the Bouchon Bakery cookbook and Smitten Kitchen's book, a teapot charm for my Pandora bracelet (somewhat kitchen related) and a cheese grater from one of my boys. It was a very good day spent with family and lots of good food. I brought a tray of biscotti/toffee/caramels and my dad kept pointing at the tray commenting that the items must have been bought.

No food gifts really for me this year (jewelry instead, so I'm not complaining).
And Fuzzy, it's a small thanks for creating a community for us here.
