Happy Thanksgiving, all. One thing I'm grateful for, is this board, your good advice and good humour.....

My glass I raise to bird and gourd
And all of you upon this board.
And also I want to give my thanks
To the absence of trolling cranks.

Happy Thanksgiving and apologies to Wino.

Mary

Hope everyone had a Happy Turkey Day. Today I am at work (but not really working), and I am still full from yesterday. Now I have to determine what to do with all the leftovers - DH ordered the turkey and despite my clear guidance we ended up with an 18 lb bird. I dismembered it before roasting and it was the best turkey ever. I was preparing to carve the breast and our guest INSISTED that I take a picture of it first....my influence must be rubbing off LOL.

This weekend there will be turkey salad with smoked almonds & dried cranberries, and probably some kind of soup (I still have some turkey stock). Luckily my husband's favorite part of T-day is the leftovers!

Happy Black Friday to all!
