Holy crap, a city in which I've recently eaten! We ate at a small Mexican joint - can't remember the name, but had a decent posole. I can get the name if you like. We also ate at the Mexican place next door to the La Quinta - mediocre/overpriced. We drove to Fresno from L.A. and back. I hope that was a once-in-a-lifetime trip. |

KSS - yep, drove through Bakersfield. Would have loved good restaurant recs but we were on a tight schedule (DH's work trip - I was just along for the ride although somehow I ended up doing all the driving...) Didn't notice any gang activity, thank goodness. |
