I know that this is probably like shooting fish in a barrel but thought I would see if there are any hidden gems you guys know of. Have a trip coming up there soon.

DH and I really like La Strada and Roxy's at the El Dorado in Reno. They are owned by the Ferrari-Carano folks. The mushroom ravioli appetizer is the best ravioli I've ever had. I now check to make sure we plan our trip to be there when the restaurant is open. We try to go early and have the chef's choice. Nice wine list as well. Roxy's is fun, great fish and steak dishes, nice wine flights and worth waiting for the chocolate souffle. We usually pay less than $50.00 for the room there and splurge on the meals and wine. Nice side, I am a nickel slot two pocket player so usually lose at most $20.00, but DH who plays a little more (quarter machines) comes out with ahead after room and meals most times.
Some friends and I ate here while on a ski trip years ago. It was very good and I still remember it (from 1988 or so).......I see it still exists and looks tempting.
