So there's now a hard cider revival of sorts going on in California. It started out as a way to save the Gravenstein, and has bloomed since, it turns out, people like cider. From the Chron: http://www.sfgate.com/wine/article/Heir ... php#page-1 Further, San Francisco apparently has a new Cider Pub, with 90 ciders on tap or in bottles. I'm going to go try it out soon, and I'll let you know which ciders are really special. http://www.upcidersf.com/ |

That is great news. I love hard cider. I buy the Spanish ones from the Cuban Food Market now as they are the only ones I can get. Nice pints of pub cider was one of my favorite things when I lived in England. |
