Lu, I love this sour cream coffee cake recipe. http://robinhood.ca/Recipe-details.aspx?rid=3390 using white whole wheat or AP flour. It's a great and easy recipe, I make it in an 8 inch square normally.
p.s. I usually leave out the nuts though since it's one I send to school with the kids.

Lu,

Wow, such great photos. I'm surprised you don't have a blog ...

Thanks Fuzzy...I just started taking photos about a year ago... I've thought of a blog but it requires a lot of time...and I don't know about the cost....my 8 year old keeps me busy with homeschooling, swim classes and soccer...thanks again...

I agree with Josh, you have a great eye. I am glad you share your photos with us. I know I get a lot of ideas from you when I take photos of my food (far inferior, both the food and the photos). I guess I need more practice. I have been phoning it in on both the cooking and photography for a while.

Thanks for your kind words...I forgot to mention that I renamed this recipe to "Spatula Cake"...while I was folding the flour, part of the spatula broke off into the batter...I didn't realize it until I was doing the dishes and the cake was already in the oven...yikes!...both Jaden and I found the missing piece today when we sliced a piece for breakfast :D

I made CI Thin Crust Pizza today...I allowed the dough to rest for 3 days...and it was worth it...the best crust by far...and I've made a lot of crusts...growing up in NYC I love thin crust pizza...the sauce needs work...too tart for me and my son...I also had trouble releasing the crust from the paddle as you can see from my pictures...otherwise this recipe is a definite keeper.

My son couldn't wait to slice into it...

The crust was nice and thin...and very tasty...

I'm tempted to place the pizza on parchment to prevent the pizza from sticking to the paddle...
