I had some friends over for dinner tonight and this is what I made for our Appetizer. About 10 years ago I started collecting small plates and I have so much fun using them for Amuses and Appetizers. The little glass is actually an antique. It is a creamer from years ago before the cream came prepackaged. |

Todd, very attractive. I love using old odds & ends on my dinner table. Years ago travelling businessmen used to carry a leather case specially fitted for knife, fork, spoon and a small glass {about 6 oz). I've geen collecting the glasses for years. I've only seen one complete kit and it was much too dear for my pocketbook. fitzie |

The Shrimp Cocktail Sauce is in the bottom of the glass and rimmed with a little Salt and Pepper. Nothing hard to make, but it looks nice on a plate and it's tasty too! Fitzie, I did not know about the traveling kits. I just called a friend of mine who deals in antiques and he knows about them. In fact, he just saw one at our Flea Market a few months ago. Who Knew! |
