My mom has a friend who had a birthday last Friday and she is 87. Mom took her and a couple of her other friends out for lunch. That night she tells me that her family doesn't do anything for her birthday. I felt bad for her, so on Saturday morning I baked a cake with Raspberry filling and Swiss buttercream frosting. Mom and I took the cake over to her on Saturday night. She was so thrilled. She couldn't believe I would do that for her and she gave me a big hug when we left. |

I didn't take any pics this time. I should have as I really liked the Swiss ButterCream frosting. My mom came home yesterday from her Bridge game and told me that Donna told all the ladies at the Bridge game that I baked her a cake for her Birthday. She also told them how much she liked the Frosting. |
