Very funny, thanks for posting. Though in the pursuit of truth I must admit the test recipe I got today only has 25 ingredients and 6 steps, so maybe it is getting better

I got a recipe this morning too for meatier meatloaf. It calls for pancetta which tickled me to no end.

PS I bet the next evolution will be to make it loafier.

loved it, thanks. Shared the grocery shopping one on f/b.
My mom gets a chuckle out of some of the recipes I follow. Either that or she's going to commit me...I'm never sure.

I loved the phrase, "culinary terrorism" -- that may become my new catchword.

Well I made the meatier meatloaf. I had to bloom gelatin, puree meat, chop, fry in multiple steps, reduce and took well over an hour to get it into the oven (after which there was a double glaze). As I was cleaning the meat puree out of my food processor, I swore NEVER AGAIN. And then my husband said it was the best meatloaf he ever had. Damn you Cook's Illustrated.
