At first glance I thought it was an exploded pressure cooker but that lid doesn't look like a PC lid. Was it staged? |

It is a reddit post about an exploded older pressure canner.  I showed the reddit post to my husband and he said "uh, when was the last time you had your pressure cooker calibrated." "Never." "Great." --Lisa |

The tops of stoves are very very strong. The amount of force required to collapse the top would do far more damage to the hood/ceiling (equal and opposite...) then shown here, not to mention the convenient sticking of the lid into the ceiling. Staged, but humorous. |
