Holy crap...there's a reason (other than content) this thing costs so much. It weighs a friggin' ton! The only times I've seen a "team lift" sticker on a box are this one and when I got my chamber vac. But, where the hell am I going to put them...not exactly lap books. Can't wait to start digging in... Amy

tome!! I hope you meant tome!!
I certainly love my copy, information wise, even if I haven't had the opportunity to cook from it much (but have been applying what I learned).

Fitzie,
Which program? I'd love to listen to a podcast of it.

Ilene,
I convinced our local library to buy a copy of this, and as a Colorado resident you can request any of the volumes through an inter-library loan. I think Telluride is one of the few in the state to have it, so there are already a number of hold requests on all of the volumes, but you can add your name to the list.

NPR - Modernist Cuisine - Talk of the Nation - broadcast July 1 http://www.npr.org/2011/07/01/137555238 ... st-cuisineThis should get you there. If not, Google NPR and search their site for Modernist Cuisine. Enjoy! fitzie ...5238/high-tech-meets-high-art-in-modernist-cuisine (this is the part that doesn't show up.)
