Somebody posted this same link on one of the gardening forums I frequent! I checked the local libraries, but none there (and I am not going to try to start something like that - I need time to plant what I keep!); strange, since our nickname is the Garden State.

WOW Dave, that is an impressive. My only foray into anything but flowers is my herb garden and I generally don't have much luck starting from seed....although most of what I have are perennial herbs. I did have some luck last year with some compact basil and will try that again this year ( I still have seed left in the refrigerator). One of these days, I might clear out some of the flowers and plant some veggies, but for ow, I rely on the farmers' markets and my CSA.

As you can see, Ilene, I have no flower seeds whatsoever. If it's not edible, I don't grow it! I have tried some "edible flowers", like nasturtiums, but they didn't hack it for me. One year my Mom saw my lemongrass growing late in the year, and asked me when I started growing something ornamental. I told her she should know better, and that was pure coincidence.

I do grow nasturtiums....I love their peppery flavor in salads and they look so pretty.
Too bad we don't live close to each other, I would trade flower bouquets for your overage of veggies.

Bumped this up in case anyone wants any of these seeds for this season.

I never grew borage - more of a medicinal plant than for flavoring, plus, I remember some posts years ago on a gardening forum about possible liver damage associated with borage.

I have a few of the epazote seeds left, and a bunch of chive seeds. PM me your address, and I'll send you some.

The only reason I asked about borage was that I believe they're used in Pimm's Cups. I love Pimm's.

Steve redid our whole garden area, fixed the sprinkler and planted some stuff new for us today. Just one "hot" pepper though, Fresno, I think. He did do some bells and Cubanelles. We got this very large tubs at Costco and planted anything that could be in a container in them. We have very clever gophers it seems.

Our lime tree survived the harsh winter and appears to have liked being enveloped in plastic. We have more blooms than I've ever seen. The bees are very happy. Lets hope the lemon and mandarin we got this year do as well. Even our blueberries seem to have survived.
