Living in Michigan, the low water levels in the lakes has been an issue for the last 10 years or so. This freeze over has been a topic of conversation for weeks now . Hopefully it will help raise the water.

25" in one day here in the Catskills. Set a record. Beautiful but took 2 hours to dig out to get access to the street and then the car in the lot across the street. Oh, my achy achy arms...

When we moved to Colorado one of the first things we bought was a Honda track snow blower. While some years it's been less necessary than more, when it's needed...it's needed.
I do not miss shoveling.
Hope this round of weather is close to your last in the form of cold and snow.
