Friend, many will know this already as Ilene posted on the Culinary facebook page, but Amy passed away yesterday.
"....it pains me to be the bearer of bad news, but I need to let you all know that our dear friend, Amy Helck, passed away at home in Telluride yesterday...."
For anyone not on f/b that wants to be informed of memorial donation wishes please send me a private message and I will let you know when I hear. Like most people here I never met Amy in person, but still feel like I've lost a friend. For those lucky enough to meet her in person my thoughts and prayers are with you in your grief.

Thanks for putting into words what I've been feeling since I heard, Jean. I never got to meet Amy in person, but her loss is felt here too.

The obit said she had been in declining health for several years. That never came through on her posts. She always seemed full of energy and zest. Sad, sad, sad.
