I mistakenly bought a bag of this some months ago but I don't really know how to use it (other than eating it like candy). Is there any reason NOT to use it the same way I use the crystallized stuff?

I would use it the same way....but typically, I just eat it like candy. I am just happy that CO is finally getting a TJ's, scheduled to open in Boulder in 2013. so much closer than Sante Fe Ilene
