Apparently one of the bombs was placed in 6L pressure cooker.....
There are simply no words for this horrible violent act.

There really are no words for this - my very inadequate comment is that yesterday just sucked. When the kids were little, we used to make Patriot's Day a really big event. We'd go to the reenactment in Lexington (you'd have to get up at 5:00 AM), then to the 11:00 AM baseball game at Fenway, which got out in time to watch the runners come across the finish line. Can't tell you what a job Patriot's Day was - and how many family memories we had. So cruel to lose that.
Thanks to you all for your good wishes - we're well as are all our acquantances. Just bruised in the soul.

My husband ran the Boston Marathon years ago. We had a wonderful time in the city and the people were great. Now that event will change forever......so sad...

Boston will still be great and the people will still be great.
We should try hard to not let a single person or group determine what is great and good. We get to determine that for ourselves, not them. F**k them.
