In other words, people who buy conventional bacon will have to start paying 3/4 of the price that I pay for pastured bacon instead of half the price that I pay for pastured bacon.

Ironically, I just received an email from my CSA asking if I'd be interested in 1/2 a lamb. I said no, but do they have any pigs coming up? They do...I seriously need to clean out my freezers...

I vote that they quit putting corn in cars and start feeding pigs!

This number to increase to over a third as e 15 comes on line. Food for fuel is mandated by the government, corn for bacon is not. Not too hard to figure. The US has a hundreds of years supply of of natural gas. Utilization is mostly being held up with useless regulation. Meanwhile, both fuel and food prices continue to rise.
