I agree! I was laughing, and thinking this when I saw an advertisement (or maybe a review in tech bytes, on a local newscast?) for the Amazon echo, which is supposedly going to make a cook out of a non-cook (my words). The funniest part of it was how, when you speak into it, telling it what ingredients you have on hand, it will come up with a recipe using these ingredients. I was thinking of some of the ingredients that I keep on hand that probably aren't in their database!

That would be a fun challenge. If I win an Echo at one of the tech events I go to (not improbable), we'll put together a plan to stump it.
