That Bull Shot sounds pretty good. 6" of snow on the ground this morning. You gotta love waking up and shoveling your driveway before you go to work. The plow went throught earlier in the morning, so the good thing is I won't have to shovel the driveway approach again when I get home.

(I was afraid for a minute that a Bull Shot was something with Red Bull. Not that I'd be into a real bull shot either, but at least it's better than Red Bull.)

DBM - Ya gotta get out more! CES = the world's largest consumer electronics show, held annually in Vegas with over 100,000 in attendance and generally dominates all fluffy media headlines as each major company introduces its special baby to the world (i.e., iPhone, tablets, etc.).

HOT BUTTERED RUM

(I cut this in half)

1 lb butter creamed
1 lb brown sugar
1 lb powdered sugar
1 quart vanilla ice cream
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg

Cream butter, add everything and beat until smooth….keep in freezer

To drink:

Heat water
Put a shot of rum in cup; add 2 tablespoons ice cream mix and fill cup with boiling water.

PS....I removed myself from CI Board as well (but I haven't been able to wean myself from the magazine yet)

The hot buttered rum sounds wonderful; I might try it. We like Hot Apple Pie:
In the bottom of a cup:
1/2 tsp. apple pie spice
Shot of Tuaca
Fill with hot apple cider
Stir with cinnamon stick
Top with whipped cream.

Enjoy!

BTW: It's only -6 here in upstate NY, BUT under Murphy's Law - our furnace went out! There was a brief moment of panic, but Tony saved the day, and twiddled a part he couldn't get till Monday, and we're toasty warm.

Tuaca is the brand name for an Italian Liquer. It has brandy, vanilla and orange - very healthy!! And when you put the cider with it - well, now we're talking about a whole warm cup of delicious vitamins. :lol:
