Saveur is not a magazine I have read much. I just recieved a good offer, $27.00 for a year with a 2 year free bonus and a couple of cookbooks (proabably little paper things). I am considering subscribing. I have not renewed CI or CC and since Gourmet is not longer I now only get BonAppetit. So is this magazine worth adding to my monthly reading?
Laurie

I have only seen this magazine a couple of times, so I really can't give you any advice. That does sound like a good price.

Laurie,
We subscribe, and I read the magazine probably 9 months out of 12. I've been pretty happy with it so far.

It seems to have changed and improved from the first time I saw/read it. Much better now. Thinking of subscribing myself.
I wish all of my cooking mags were website subscriptions; enviroSon complains about the amount of mail we get, which is true. I'm down to BA, CaH and a few more months of Cooks Country hard copy. I have CI and CC web subscriptions. I've picked up Saveur a couple of times, and quite like it. I got a thingy for Food and Wine for $6/year, so I signed up for that. At the rate mags are folding, there are a lot of good deals to be had out there.

Thanks, I think I'll subscribe. Three years for $27 bucks is reasonable enough.

L Laurie, Is there a discount code on that 3 year $27 subscription? Tim

I have been getting Saveur as a Christmas gift from a friend, for the last 6 years....definitely has improved over that time period and I really enjoy it now. Very global in its approach to food, so lots of diverse cuisines featured. ilene

Laurie, all:
A warning though: Saveur's recipes are often edited for space, to make them fit into the magazine column. This has, on occasion, resulted in cutting important steps or ingredients.
