It appears that I have also just inherited a cookbook collection. None of these have any sentimental value. My dad just kept buying my mom cookbooks at various garage sales. She never used any of them. I've already decided to keep a few --
The Bread Baker's Apprentice for instance, but I need to make a decision on some of the others. I was hoping that someone here might be familiar with one or more of these titles --
Ultimate Bread by Eric Treuille & Ursula Ferrigno - A DK Press book that seems to be more flash than substance.
Baking in America by Greg Patent - A tome. Does it deserve 2 and a quarter inches of shelf space?
Sauces by James Peterson - ditto, except it's more like 2 and three-quarters inches.
100 Great Breads by Paul Hollywood - Nice bread porn, but I already have half a dozen bread books.
Amy's Bread by Amy Scherber & Toy Kim Dupree - Looks intriguing, but I already have half a dozen bread books.
Anyone?
