For all you cookbook collectors I just read this article by Russ Parsons (LA TImes). It mentions a website for vintage, rare and used cookbooks!

http://www.cookbookvillage.com/

"...signed first editions of my favorite authors. They've got a flickr gallery of signed frontispieces and dust jackets. And so it goes.

There's a blog about cookbook collecting that's a lot of fun to page through and in November the website announced that it will soon start selling books (it already has an EBay store)."

Thank you for the nice post on our store Nance. I am glad that the article reached cookbook fans. I was a longtime collector before we opened our store. My favorite part of it all is that I still get to find all the signed and rare books.

We are still ramping up our inventory and it may take another couple months to be fully stocked. We have been a long time eBay store but have decided to open our own storefront to do more outreach with people and move beyond eBay. We are keeping that store opened though so check there as well.

We only carry used books and are heavily focused on restaurant, community, ethnic, signed and vintage books (because those are my personal favorites and most fun to find). We do though get some newer contemporary books as you will notice when you visit.

Glad you found us! Please join us on Facebook and/or Twitter as well. There are links at the footer of our site.

Best,

Wendy
