Another book I had to get! I got it today, and glanced at it this evening, and it looks as good as most of the others she co-authored with her (ex)husband, Jeffrey Alford. Not as much garlic or hot peppers as in Thai or other SE Asian cuisines, but a LOT of shallots. I'll let you know when I try the recipes. Anyone else have this yet, and try anything from it? |

Dave, Nope. The Chron reviewed it of course, as did Saveur. But I've been waiting for it to become available at the library to try it. |
