I did a search but didn't find anything on the board. Can anyone recommend a good, reasonably authentic Ethiopian cookbook? We had Ethiopian food twice when we were in Boston because there isn't a single restaurant in South Florida and I am craving it again.
I found a good-looking recipe for injera, and I have made doro wat, but I would like to expand to some of the meat dishes I don't know the names for.
Thanks,

I did a search when after I ate at Addis and could not find any. I did find some sites online, one with a nice recipe for swiss chard. I'll be interested to see how your injera turns out. I looked at Samuelson at the time and did not find what I wanted, but he's had at least one cookbook out since then.

Saveur has a few good recipes. Now I'm craving some!

I ended up buying Exotic Ethiopian Cooking by Daniel J. Mesfin, which is the top item on that list. I'll let everyone know how it is.
I wish Eat Your Books worked for me. I love the concept, but I have 200 cookbooks from 1900-1949, and they are the one I use most. The modern cookbooks I have are a pretty small part of my collection, and EYB just doesn't have enough of the out of print books indexed to make it worth it for me.

Small hijack - but I'm letting my EYB lapse at the end of this subscription as I just don't refer to it at all; good product but not for me.

At the beginning they offered lifetime membership for the cost of two years' subscription. We bit.

Yeah, I got the lifetime membership too. I keep thinking.... One day... I'll start using it.

Damn, I should have got the lifetime subscription! I use EYB all the time.
For example, I'll use it to look up a recipe from work, so that I can pick up the main ingredients on the way home.
