Geekboy isn't actually a beer-drinker either. He really enjoys buying the stuff, though, so it works out great for me. ; )

Well, if buying me beer makes him happy, then I'll do what it takes, y'know?

I hear ya...
Andy showed up one day a couple of months ago with two bottles of Premier Cru Champagne. He knew they would make me happy, so, I let him.

GB, Eh. Being sued is like losing your virginity. It's very scary until it actually happens, and then it's just messy and awkward. Having been sued once (business dispute), I'm a lot more blase' about it than many on the internet. Not that I won't ask for donations if it does happen. Regarding beers, let me recommend a few good ones: Rogue Ales has a hard-core artisnal small-batch line. This evening we drank some of the "wet hop ale" which is a real meal in a bottle: http://www.rogue.com/beers/chatoe-wet-hop.phpWe were in Ft. Bragg recently, and visited one of my favorite breweries, North Coast Brewing. Their Scrimshaw Pilsner is probably the only American pilsner I like. And they've recently got into Belgians; I picked up some "Brother Thelonious": http://www.northcoastbrewing.com/
