Thankfully, living in a small town where even as a visitor you'll be noticed by someone if you try these kind of scams, these sorts of thongs rarely happen to us.

Amy - being of the male variety, I just love those kinds of typos . . .

We once knew a friend of a friend who would complain about EVERY meal and try to get it comped. I'm not positive but I think she went so far as to plant things in her food (like a band-aid). Needless to say we didn't go out if we knew she was coming along.
