Folks,
I'm in northern Napa Valley right now (Calistoga); any restaurants people recommend?

fuzzy I had a terrific meal at Mustards in Napa and equally wonderful dinner in Sonoma at Lady and the Fig If you have time while you are there, visit Paradise Ridge winery in Santa Rosa, aside from great boutique wines, they have an amazing scupture garden. ilene

Ilene,
We went to Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen, the other restaurant belonging to the owner of Mustard's. It was really good.

Fuzzy,
I may be a few eons late but, the Calistoga Inn used to be inexpensive and wonderful. When I had brown hair they had 1500 wines on their list at very low prices. Then they decided to become hip and began to make terrible beer.
What is the current report on Napa dining?

Tim,
Cindy's, per above. Also Bistro Jeanty, Market (St. Helena), and Cafe Sarafornia (for breakfast). Tre Vigne has become somewhat formula, but still makes a good (though pricey) plate of pasta.
Sadly, Ubuntu went down in flames before I ever had a chance to eat there.
