I'm shocked. I would have thought you'd be past the experimentation stage and know what you're doing by now.

Had friends over for dinner last evening and made the Sausage Ragu from Anne Burrell's new book "Cook Like A Rock Star". Could have been the best sauce for pasta I ever made. It is a long process (a good 4 hours), but well worth the effort to follow her (sometimes funny) directions. The cookbook is my new favorite. Instead of "ingredients" she lists "mise en place" because she wants you to prep everything before you start cooking.
Anyway, great dinner....started with lemon foccacia, used paparadel noodles and had a great salad and garlic bread (using the no knead bread). Guests brought a lovely desert.

Oh, that wonderful foccacia... I really need to do that again. Who can I invite for dinner?

I created a recipe for a pumpkin-onion-cheese phyllo pie. It was really good; I need to write it up.
