I had an issue with #49 in the Part 1: Never mention the tip, unless asked., but I see that my concern has been addressed in #51 in Part 2: If there is a service charge, alert your guests when you present the bill. It’s not a secret or a trick.

We dine with a group of friends (usually 6 or 8 in total) and until we were conditioned to it we double-tipped a few times...

And then there's the one that bit us in Baltimore's Little Italy: 64. Specials, spoken and printed, should always have prices.

What a coincidence that a friend of mine would send me this link just after eating there last Saturday. I heard Shari talking about this at the next table, but I didn't really pay attention to all the details.

Fun article. I grew up in Holly, the Holly Hotel is also frequented by ghosts. They've also had the experts there to prove it too. Fine dinning with a little added spirit added.

My favorite restaurant Stella's Tratoria in Traverse City is in the old mental hospital. It has a series of small rooms, with the electrical wires running through the rafters. It is sort of a creepy/elegant place. Their menu changes daily based on season and local produce and meats. Each course is ala carte so you can order as much or as little as you choose. Fun place to dine.

Laurie, I can't tell you how much I enjoy hearing you enjoy eating in a mental hospital.....sometimes, I think that's normal....

You guys are a laugh riot. No matter what you say I will still enjoy eating in the basement of an old mental hospital with the most devine selection of foods....so nanny nanny boo to you. :roll:
