Turtles, the candy in the shape of a turtle, is an American invention according to Wiki. However, I never encountered it there but was extremely happy to learn of it when I moved to Canuckland. Then Prime Minister Trudeau loved them!!

However, I just came across a cheesecake recipe that has the highest ratings consistently across numerous web sites for Turtle cheesecake.

Have you heard of it, made it, and/or have a killer recipe?

BTW, if you are dieting, do not read or make this :lol: :twisted:

I've had similar at restaurants/bakeries, but never made it.

I'm so late to the party. Turtles candies are ubiquitous here. So are turtles cheesecakes. I'm curious about the highest rated recipe for one (I have never made one, only eaten my weight in them while at mid-range chain restaurants and work conference lunches).
