I was out in Vegas last week and had a great time. My first night there, I ate at the Noodle Exchange in the Casino where I was staying. I had a Mini Hot Pot. Basically, it was a Pot filled with a seasoned broth over a sterno. It took a couple of minutes to come to a boil and then I dropped in my Veges, Beef, Tofu, Rice Noodles, Fish Cakes, Tomato and some other stuff I can't remember. It was really good. I even impressed an Asian woman sitting next to me with my adeptness at using Chopsticks. The waiter was a little put out when I only dropped my beef in the broth for a few seconds. He looked at me and said "It's not cooked!" "It's cooked enough for me" I responded. He commented back with "You Americans and your raw meat". I had to laugh.
Darcie, Did you see me wave when I flew over your house on my way to the airport in Minneapolis?

I'm too cheap when it comes to big name restaurants in Vegas. I like the deals. The Ellis Island Casino has a great deal. For $6.99, you get a 10 oz filet cut sirloin, the tastiest green beans, potato, salad and 12 oz glass of their microbrew beer. It's a very good steak and a great deal. I also had 2 for 1 coupons, so we did 2 buffets for dinner. The Main Street Station Casino had Steak and Shrimp on Thursday. My steak was very good and the Shrimp were awesome, They were cooked fresh in a Garlic cream sauce. The price for two $15.00. On Friday was a Seafood Buffet at the Gold Coast where we were staying. Snow Crab legs, peel and eat Shrimp, Oysters on the half shell, Steamed Mussels, Clams, Sushi and lots of other seafood. Again, the price for 2 people was less than $16.00 for two with my coupon. One of these days when I hit it really big in Vegas, I will hit a big name restaurant.

Frank, The funniest thing I have heard somebody doing is collecting cards from each person in the line and then handing them to the last person in line. The funny thing is they take them and then they realize what you have done.
