 Post subject: If you had one pound of Kobe beef...??

I have one pound of ground Kobe beef, what should I do with it? My first inclination is burgers, any other idea's :?: :?:

HI,

I think the cooking method should relate to the cut and the standard marbling scale.

A Grade 12 steak is best sliced thin and cooked like foie gras:

A Grade 4 steak may be cooked like any other steak:

Well it's ground so I'm not sure. There is about a 20% marbleing I would guess.

Kobe sliders with brioche buns, served with an herb butter and sauteed mushrooms. I've done these before when I had ground kobe, and they were very good. A full-sized burger can be a bit overwhelming with that much fat.

I meant herbed cheese (thinned almost to being a sauce). Really good.
