If it is a single occurrence, it is possibly just Post hoc, ergo propter hoc fallacy. Particularly with food we are somewhat programmed to associate bad outcomes with the food we just ate when it could have been an insect bite or other unrelated occurrence; we seem to favor caution with 'bad' foods. Probably good from an evolutionary point of view
If it is repeatable that is a different story, of course.
