Update I developed an infection in my incision over the week end. I went to an off site ER late Sun afternoon & it was confirmed. They started me on an antibiotic & took a culture. I had a scheduled app't with my practitioner on Tues to review the CT scan that I had last week. It looks much improved. The PA also decided after consulting with another Dr that I should have 3 stitches in my head because the incision had opened up. They really hurt!!!!!!!! Even with whatever they stuck in my head so it wouldn't hurt! Next app't is next Thurs. Kathy

Went to the PA on Tues. Infection is gone & I can finally wash my hair. It's been 2 months of using a disgusting spray on my hair. I have a dent in my head from one incision & a lump from another. PT is 3x a week & is making me stronger, but I still tire easily. I'm also taking a 1/2 hr excerise class, but unforturately it is right after my PT & I think it is wearing me out. It's only 2x a week so I will continue with it. My insurance will soon run out & PT will stop. Thank goodness we have insurance! I have had excellent care & I am grateful for that. Plus Pete was with me every day all day in the hospital & most days when I was in rehab. I have another CT scan in 2 weeks. I think this has been harder on Pete than me. Thanks for all your good thoughts. Kathy

Kathy, I am sooooo glad you are doing better. The insurance business sucks, doesn't it? So, get well!!! We have martinis to drink in Vegas, and I'm given to understand that what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Are you listening, Todd? Winter's coming here in the East, some nice desert weather would be good --- around late Jan. - Feb.

Kathy, thinking of you and Pete. Sounds like you're making progress. I made the pork tenderloin with maple-mustard sauce the other night and thought of you, Pete and San Antonio!

That's funny you say that Trinket, pork tenderloin always gives me a SA thought or two too. As does seeing those boules of dough being rolled out (by Amy). Fun time.
