I know some folks here that have a buffalo farm and they get about $6.00 a pound for it. I've bought the ground, never a steak.

Pete, I know what bison is, I just don't know what it costs here... sorry I am obviously losing my tenuous command of the English language. There is a restaurant up the street from me that serves it and it is fantastic but you have to get a bank loan before ordering it.

Frank,
So did you get to eat any? I'm just curious why you don't see water buffalo as meat much; they're they 3rd most popular livestock in the world. I was wondering if they were really gamy or tough or something.
