I'm constantly on my iPad, so would love a mobile version, but safari works ok if there are other priorities that come first.

Darcie,
So, you're looking for more of an avian friendly version?

I spend more time with my Android tablet than my wife.

Folks,
So I'm considering using something like ForumRunner, which would involve making users (that's you) buy a $1.99 app to access a phone-optimized version of the Board. I don't see any point in Tablet-optimized versions, since this board works fine on my tablet as-is.
The reason I'd use something like ForumRunner is that the total effort involved for me is about 30 minutes of configuring stuff, as opposed to a native mobile interface which would be a whole weekend.
For the spammer problem, I'm currently going back and forth with one of the lead developers of PHPBB about how to deal with it.

Is ForumRunner a one-time $1.99 or $1.99 per Board accessed?

I'm quite sure it is a one-time purchase.

I think the idea of a modest one time fee for a mobile app is perfectly reasonable for us in order to save you a weekend of work. Have we told you how much we love you lately?
