I have 3 Google Alerts that have been set up for years now. One each for Rum Cake, Carrot Cake and No Knead Bread. I set these up when the No Knead Bread was very popular, so that tells you how long they have been active. I receive the alerts on Wednesday. The one for Carrot Cake always has at least 10 or so listings. The Rum Cake, maybe 1 or 2. The No Knead Bread has had maybe 1 or 2 now for months. It's interesting how this was so popular years ago and now not many people are posting about it on their blogs etc. I belong to the Artisan Bread Bakers Group on Facebook and thats where I get my Bread Fix now. If you are on Facebook you might want to join this group. There are some great posts everyday and lots of pictures.

Thanks Todd! I clicked the "join" tab for that group and it says "pending" -- although I saw a reference about prospective members needing to be invited. So I'm not sure what that meant but it looks like a great resource!
