This year I'm cooking, and over the last few days it's been chicken soup, matzoh balls, brisket braised with walnuts and pomegranate,(wonderful sauce!) chopped chicken livers and the forcemeat and fish stock for gefilte fish. Tomorrow brings poaching the fish, and charoset. On Saturday I will only have to prep the lemon soufflé for dessert before Seder.
I told mom that next year we are getting invited to someone else's Seder.

Becky,
Yeah, that's why I'm having a "stand-up seder" which is all just starters. Except we're having matzoh ball soup. Otherwise: matzoh, cheese, mini-latkes with horseradish sauce, parsley salad, gefilte fish, gravlax, etc. BTW, the parsley salad is from Plenty More, and seems really suitable for Passover.
