Looks like we didn't get any requests to bail anyone out of jail after NYE! I guess that means everyone made it through safely.

After a year of devastating loss around us, I want to wish all a Happy New Year with love, peace, understanding and good will to all, along with laughter, excellent health, happiness, prosperity and great food in the company of family and good friends.

HNY to you, too.
My toast at the NYE party was "fuck 2018". It's been a crap year in many, many respects (I'm currently paying for the cancer care for one relative, and just returned from the funeral of another).
