plastics won't dry in dishwasher!

I am sure we have 'discussed' this but I am unable to locate anything, so - - -

My main problem with plastics is all of the crevices where water is trapped. I don't let my DW dry the dishes, as a rule. I just open it as soon as the first beeper goes off, and shake all of that trapped water off of the dishes that trap it - usually, but not always, plastic. The dishes are hot, and air dry quickly, as a rule.
