Keep at least one of the flexible ones chilled-they're great for burns. And to wrap around wine bottles for a quick chill (hold it on with rubber bands or twine).

My 14 year old is making us dinner tonight and she will be taking some smoked salmon out of the freezer.
It is some kind of pasta dish with ricotta, smoked salmon and lime. I think I need to encourage this kind of behavior.

Took out two veal chops and made Dorie Greenspan's (Around my French Table) Veal Chops with Rosemary Butter last night. Excellent!

Duck Soup? Do you keep all of your classic comedies in the freezer, or just the Marx Brothers?

I took out a package with 6 little lamb tenderloins. Sauteed them in a skillet, and made a pan sauce of white wine, lemon, rosemary & garlic. Served them with carrots roasted in duck fat and CI's steamed, riced mash potatoes.

Used 8oz of shredded poached chicken to add to La Choy Chicken Chow Mein.

I suppose I'll be exiled forever but I did, with eyes wide open, choose to share.
