The one you mentioned in the dinner thread. I can muddle through bundt cakes, this just sounds so good to me.
Thanks, Lynn

I'd like that, too, if I may.

Good, lets put this at the top one more time so he sees it.
That chocolate glaze really sounds good on it, love that orange and chocolate thing.

Lindsay, Lynn, It's from Baked Explorations. I could type it up, but dozens of other people have already done so: http://foodlibrarian.blogspot.com/2010/ ... -cake.htmlOne tip Kris gives is that using a mixer is not really required for anything but the egg whites; she beat it all by hand. It turned out quite well. The chocolate glaze was just Sharffenberger Chocolate Sauce, a bit watered down.

Thanks. I've bookmarked that and the chocolate cinnamon on the same blog.
Might use it for a party on Tuesday.

Thanks! I've become fascinated with using olive oil in baked goods.

Lynn,
Oh, one more thing ... Kris used a bit more orange zest than the original recipe called for. She used the full zest of two California navel oranges. It needs it; with lest zest it wouldn't be orangey at all.

It was wonderful -- made it on Saturday for a small dinner party. Didn't use the chocolate glaze, used orange glaze. But ditto on the additional orange zest -- it can stand a fair amount:
