Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes. Having a wonderful mellow day.
DH surprised me with bacon wrapped filet and Costco Parisian salad. He used CI's better than A-1 marinade and did the SS pan with DO on top to sear and then to oven. The steaks were so good, moist, tender, flavorful even though they were on the rare side of medium ( the Cuban in me generally prefers the well side of medium) I ate 2 of them instead of having a starch. It was unexpected because we had planned to go to one of my favorite restaurants on Wed to celebrate. It was a wonderful surprise.
Now back to the Grammys.
