Similar to one of the comments in the NYT article, I question why Pete Wells is reviewing the restaurant at all. He is a NYT critic afterall. Just my $02.
It appears that Pete Wells feels he has an obligation to skewer and roast any Food Network Alumnus no matter how far they roam. He did show remarkable restraint by not using the word cleavage anywhere in the review.
