Well, no Zabar's here. Heck, there's only two Jewish delis in the city, and neither one is remotely near my apartment.

So, smoked halibut + lemon + dill + parsley + celery + sour cream. Should be good, anyway.

Last night: chinese, not so great.

But his morning: herbed scrambled eggs served atop spit gougeres from Tartine bakery. mmmmmmmmmmm.

Made the Chicken and Slicks tonight. Pretty dang good, though I don't see them going into heavy rotation.

Sausage, White Bean and Escarole Ragout from Cooking Light. Had such high hopes for this and have been looking for casseroles with hearty greens but this was so bad that I spit it out after my 2nd taste and after Russ had one bowl, emptied the entire dish into our GB.
Blech.
Anyone care to share some dark leafy green recipes (kale, escarole, chard etc) that are non-soup good hearty meals?

We did steaks, salad with the Costco artisan greens, some whole wheat naan, and cranberry sauce with strawberries on top.

It looks like the spring strawberries from California have started. I got a gigantic thing at Costco and they are surprisingly good. $4.99.

Don't mean to sound like a cc ad.
